only take care of the teeth you want to keep

Whether you’re getting treatment with braces or Invisalign, remember to:

• Get regular cleanings and checkups with your dentist
• Brush 3 times a day and floss every night
• Avoid food and drinks high in sugar or acid

These guidelines will help you avoid getting cavities or spots on your teeth during treatment.

i wouldn’t eat that if I were you

Foods that commonly cause loose bands, brackets and broken appliances include hard foods like popcorn, candy, ribs, corn on the cob, whole apples, etc., and chewy foods like caramel, gum, Hi-Chew, Starburst, etc.

Your journey to a beautiful new smile will heavily depend on the partnership you have with us. While we don’t want to interfere with your nutrition, avoiding these foods will help avoid bumps in the road and get you to your destination faster.

Retention

Everything shifts with age, and research shows that it’s just as true for teeth, whether or not you’ve had ortho treatment.

you’ve made it. now keep it.

Retention is the best way to keep your teeth aligned after treatment. And a retainer is the appliance that gets the job done. Without it, who knows where your teeth will go!
