PATIENT INFO – ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that patients see an orthodontist for their first examination no later than age seven. By the time children are seven years old, they have enough permanent teeth to identify potential problems and set a timeline for any future treatment they may need.
While most orthodontic patients are older than age seven, there are some patients who could significantly benefit from early treatment. Examples include: patients with a constricted upper jaw, crossbite, underbite, openbite, or crowding. For more information about early treatment, please contact us to schedule a complimentary evaluation to assess your child’s needs.
Of course it is never too late to create a beautiful and balanced smile. So if you are an adult with orthodontic needs, we invite you to join one out of every five patients who seek orthodontic treatment as adults. Invisalign is a popular treatment option among our adult patients and we would be happy to evaluate if Invisalign is right for you during your complimentary examination.
